~Position Summary: This opportunity will provide the chance to gain experience and do actual work within the department. Training will be given by the Quality Assurance Manager. Training will be given to enable the fellow to provide document and report review and support within the QA department. Specifically, the training will include the day-to-day activities below.

~Day-to-Day Activities:
• Provide technical writing and word processing support for the day to day operations, as well as for individual projects as needed within the QA department.
• Perform literature searches as needed.
• Assist in streamlining the SOP preparation and review process.
• Assist in drafting SOP/protocol and report templates for the department.
• Organize the archival of notebooks and study related documents.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, and be willing to work in an environment where changing project priorities and work assignments require flexibility.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• PC experience including MS Word, Excel and Power Point required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science field.
• Knowledge of physical and electronic filing systems.

~Training Outcomes: The fellow will gain experience and skills in the areas described in the day-to-day activities.

~Field of Study Related to Position: Biotechnology.

~Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor's.

~Number of Positions Available: 1.

~Fellow Position will be unpaid.

~Minimum Hours per Week: 20+ hours/week.
